Australian Junior Series Wrap-up

The Australian Junior Series concluded at Perisher last weekend with bluebird weather, great shredding and good times for all the young riders. Thanks to everyone who competed, drove kids there, cooked sausages, took photos and generally made it all work. There were over 60 competitors! And BIG props to all our valued sponsors: Dragon, Burton, Flux Bindings, Nikita, POW Boardstore, FreestyleMax, Monster Skatepark, Snowboarder Mag, Perisher and Hotham Resorts. The AJS Committee is the Snowboard Committee of NSW Snowsports and the event is sanctioned by Ski and Snowboard Australia. Thanks as well to both organisations for their support.

All Divisions were hotly contested and the final overall series winners had to be decided on a countback of full results. Congratulations to the Male AJS Series Champion Jesse Kennedy and the female AJS Series Champion Alex Fitch!
